Star Wars Galaxy Of Heroes Dengar

[Editor’s Note 2: This game is currently not in a very good place and the developers seem to be very out of touch with their playerbase. And the senior producer on the game recently revealed that they expect players to spend $4,000-5,000 to catch up. So if you’re not willing to spend several thousand dollars for digital characters on a mobile game, I’d encourage you to think twice about starting.]
This site does not work on your browser. Dengar - one of the bounty hunters seen in the company of Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back - is coming to The Clone Wars, and actor Simon Pegg (Star Trek and Shaun of the Dead) is playing him!
I have been playing Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes essentially since launch, and while it can often be frustrating it is by far the best Star Wars mobile game out there. If you’ve ever wanted to collect and use a roster of many of the most iconic characters in Star Wars, then this game might be for you.
But if you are thinking about jumping in to the game and starting now, it might seem overwhelming. At this point, there are well over 160 different characters and 35 different ships, as well as plenty of game modes, gearing, mods, and more! That might seem overwhelming, so that’s why I wanted to write this article to hopefully provide some insight as to where to start, if you’re just getting ready to.
I’ll just say this right up front: HAVE FUN! There are way too many things to focus on for new players, so basically, just choose what you want to focus on and go from there. This guide is meant to give you a good idea of what is required for each event as well as some easier things to be aware of (i.e. similar characters needed for different events), but it will take you a long while to be able to get all of the legendary characters in the game. But don’t let that stop you from farming what you want to focus on, and don’t let it stop you from enjoying the game.
One very logical place to start, however, is by farming Phoenix.
1. Farm Phoenix!
There are a number of things that make the Phoenix Squadron the no-brainer choice to start with. (1) They’re easy to get; (2) They’re a very good squad in early-to-mid game shards (and Ezra Bridger is a very good character in certain squads even in end game shards); (3) They’re required for a whole lot of things; (4) They make a very good squad for Territory Wars and Territory Battles.
So the fast-track to getting started with this game is to focus on Phoenix early on. There are six characters in the faction, and you’ll need five of them to make a complete squad. You’ll want to farm all six of them, but Sabine Wren is easily the hardest one to get. So start by farming the others: Ezra Bridger on cantina node 2-B and fleet shipments, Hera Syndulla on cantina node 1-F, Chopper from the cantina store, Zeb from the Galactic War store, and Kanan Jarrus from the Squad Arena store. You’ll notice that you can farm Chopper, Zeb, and Kanan all at the same time, while farming either Ezra or Hera from cantina (and getting Ezra from fleet shipments to supplement it, too). It doesn’t particularly matter which one you target first, though alternating might not be a bad idea (example: farming Ezra to unlock, then switching to Hera to unlock, then switching to Ezra to star up, then switching to Hera to star up, etc.). Both characters are essential for the Phoenix Squadron, as Hera has the only leader ability of the group (and a very good one, at that) and Ezra is the biggest damage-dealer. So focus on those characters, all the while farming Sabine from Dark Side hard node 1-A. She will take longer to get and star up, but don’t put it off because you’ll need her for her ship later on. All of the Phoenix characters are also available through guild event shipments.
The target is to get five of the Phoenix Squadron to five stars as quickly as possible. You can, however, use this squad as your arena team before that. You’ll be going up against people who are starting at a similar time as you so you won’t be too behind, and Phoenix will hold up well and allow you to gradually climb in arena ranks. The reason you’ll want them to five stars as quickly as possible is because this will allow you to unlock some legendary characters.
2. Farm for Legendary/Hero’s Journey Events!
So far in the game there have been nine legendary events and three hero’s journey events (with more likely coming soon!), and all twelve are very good characters. Amazingly, Phoenix will allow you to unlock two of the legendary characters and contribute toward two others.
Thrawn and Palpatine
Thrawn unlock requirements: 5 Phoenix Squadron at 5-stars
Palpatine unlock requirements: 5 Rebels at 5-stars
Legendary events require you to use a certain faction to unlock a character. These characters unlock at five stars, and in order to complete that stage you must have at least five five-star characters of that certain faction (to get them to six stars, you must have five six-star characters, etc.). Grand Admiral Thrawn is the best character in the game currently, and his legendary event requires you to use Phoenix. His legendary event is difficult, but that’s really only when you are trying to get him to seven stars. Farming Phoenix will allow you to unlock Thrawn, who is a terrific character from the moment you unlock him – and you’ll never outgrow a use for him. I have used him in my arena team for most of the time I’ve had him, and I still run him as a vital part of my arena team. I think he’s the best character in the game that there is, when you consider his skills, versatility, and usefulness.
But Phoenix will also allow you to unlock Emperor Palpatine, who is also a very good character and one of the best leaders in the game currently (especially with his zeta ability). In order to unlock Palpatine, you must use five five-star Rebels… and all six members of Phoenix Squadron also have Rebel tags! So you can use Phoenix to unlock Palpatine, too. And Palpatine paired with Thrawn sets you well on your way to having a terrific Empire team, which also will be useful.
R2-D2 and Yoda
R2-D2 unlock requirements: 5 Empire characters at 5-stars
Yoda unlock requirements: 5 Jedi at 5-stars
R2-D2 has a ton of uses (tag-wise, he’s the most versatile in the game) and is a great character, and in order to unlock him you’ll need five Empire characters. But here’s the good news: thanks to Phoenix Squadron, you should already have Emperor Palpatine and Grand Admiral Thrawn! So there’s two of your Empire characters already out of the way thanks to Phoenix. From there, you’ll have to choose three other Empire characters. I’d definitely suggest farming Grand Moff Tarkin from Squad Arena shipments and fleet shipments, as he’s a good character and will fit in well with an Empire squad. Mp3 queen show must go on (alex shik remix. Besides Tarkin, I would encourage you to farm Darth Vader from Fleet shipments whenever you see him, as Vader fits perfectly under a Palpatine lead and is one of the best choices you could make. He’s harder and slower to farm though, so you’ll have decisions to make. And then for the fifth slot, my recommendation would be to farm TIE Fighter Pilot from cantina node 4-B. Any three Empire characters would do, but I suggest these three because they are among the best choices possible character-wise and also all have ships that are quite useful.
Then when it comes to Grand Master Yoda, Phoenix Squadron also gives you a boost here. Jedi are required to unlock Yoda, who is a very fast Jedi who deals a lot of damage and spreads buffs around. But remember, there are two members of Phoenix who are Jedi: Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus! So there’s two of your five required Jedi. From there, you’ll soon see that you have a ton of options. One of these options should absolutely be Old Ben Kenobi, who can be farmed from cantina battles 2-F and 6-B, as well as guild shipments. The reason you absolutely want to farm Old Ben is that he’s required to unlock Commander Luke Skywalker, so you’ll need to farm him eventually. Don’t waste your time farming three other Jedi instead of Old Ben right now; make sure you’re maximizing resources by farming Old Ben for both Yoda and Commander Luke. The same should be said of Bastilla Shan and Jolee Bindo. Both of these characters are needed to unlock Jedi Knight Revan, so just like Old Ben you will need to farm them eventually. So since both Bastilla and Jolee have Jedi tags, they make perfect sense to round out your farm for Yoda. But be warned: they aren’t easy farms. Bastilla can be farmed on dark side hard node 5-B and fleet hard node 2-D, while Jolee can be farmed on dark side hard node 6-D and fleet hard node 4-E. Hard node farms are the most frustrating, but in the long run you’ll be glad you farmed them. One other suggestion that I’ll add here is Juhani, a Jedi who is needed for the Darth Revan Hero’s Journey event. I’ve now listed more characters to farm than are needed for this event, but if getting Darth Revan is a top priority for you, then replace one of the Jedi with Juhani, depending on what your other priorities are. Juhani is available on light side hard node 6-A.
Chimaera and Millennium Falcon
Chimaera unlock requirements: 2 Phoenix ships + 3 Rebel ships at 5 stars
Han’s Millennium Falcon unlock requirements: 4 bounty hunter ships at 5 stars
So far there are two different ship legendary events, one for a capital ship (Chimaera) and one for a regular ship (Han’s Millennium Falcon). And at this point, the Chimaera is still the best stand-alone capital ship in the game in my opinion (though many of the capital ships work great with certain squads), and Han’s Millennium Falcon is the best ship in the game period, in my opinion.
For the Chimaera event, you’ll need to have Thrawn unlocked (obviously) to be able to utilize the ship (since Thrawn is the ship’s pilot in-game), but you also need to use both Phoenix ships and three other Rebel ships at five-stars to unlock the Chimaera. So you need to have the Ghost and the Phantom IIfor sure, which means you should probably start farming those at your earliest convenience. This is also why it’s helpful to begin with Phoenix, because by the time you get their ships you should (hopefully) already have the pilots unlocked, starred, and geared up a bit. You can farm the Ghost from the Guild Events store, Dark Side hard node 9-C, and fleet shipments, while you can find the Phantom II on Dark Side hard node 9-D and in fleet shipments. Neither of these are easy farms, but if you see them pop up in fleet shipments I’d jump at it. In addition to these two ships, you need three other Rebel ships. The only other Rebel ships that aren’t Phoenix are Biggs Darklighter’s X-Wing, Wedge Antilles’s X-Wing, Bistan’s U-Wing, Cassian’s U-Wing, and… Han’s Millennium Falcon. Biggs’ ship is one of the very best and most useful in the game, so farm that one for sure from either the fleet store or the Galactic War store (I’d encourage the latter). I’d also recommend Wedge’s ship, too, which can be farmed from the Galactic War store as well. So really, you just have to choose between Bistan’s U-Wing (fleet store and fleet battles 2-C) and Cassian’s U-Wing (cantina store). You’ll of course need the pilots of their respective ships unlocked and progressed a decent bit as well, which means Biggs Darklighter, Wedge Antilles, HanSolo, Chewbacca, Bistan,Scarif Rebel Pathfinder,Cassian Andor, Jyn Erso, and K-2SO, depending on which ships you choose.
Because Rebel ships are required for the Chimaera, it may be best to actually start by focusing on Bounty Hunter ships. I know, at first that sounds a bit odd, but here’s why: Bounty Hunter ships are required to unlock Han’s Millennium Falcon. You’ll need four of them at five stars in order to unlock this ship, and currently there are only four in the game, so this is pretty straightforward: Hound’s Tooth, Xanadu Blood, IG-2000, and Slave I are your targets here. And, of course, by extension that means you’ll need Bossk, Cad Bane, IG-88, and Boba Fett. There are a couple of silver linings here, though. Firstly, these ships are very useful. The Hound’s Tooth is one of the very best ships in the game (and until the release of Han’s Falcon was easily the best), and you won’t regret farming this one at all. The Xanadu Blood is also a quite useful ship, though it’s not nearly as dominant or as meta-defining as Hound’s Tooth. Slave I is a good ship and is one of the most common reinforcements that you’ll see, since it has one of the most useful reinforcement abilities. And then IG-2000 is fine in certain lineups, but it doesn’t have as much use as the other three. But regardless, you’ll get good use out of these ships beyond just this event, which is always great (and not always the case with some of these legendary/hero’s journey events…). And secondly, the bounty hunter characters themselves (i.e. the pilots for these ships) are also quite useful. Bossk is probably the best bounty hunter, while Boba Fett is a staple and Cad Bane and IG-88 have their uses. Bounty hunters are quite useful in a number of phases of the game (especially Territory War and Grand Arena), but they also are required for another legendary event, which is a big plus.
Chewbacca, BB-8, and C-3PO
Chewbacca unlock requirements: 5 Bounty Hunter characters at 5-stars
BB-8 unlock requirements: 5 First Order characters at 5-stars
C-3PO unlock requirements: 5 Ewok characters at 5-stars
As I mentioned, Bounty Hunters are required to unlock Chewbacca. He’s a very good character, but be warned: his legendary event is very, very difficult. The reason for this is that he requires bounty hunters to unlock, and since by the time of his release many players already had five bounty hunters to seven stars CG/EA decided to make the event difficult based on gear rather than star level. All of the previous legendary events had star level as the main barrier to unlocking a character, but Chewbacca’s legendary event has gear level as the main barrier. So as you’re farming bounty hunters for this event, be sure to gear them up – because otherwise, this event is incredibly, incredibly difficult and RNG-dependent. Anyway, your choices of the Bounty Hunters are interesting. You will without any doubt want to farm Boba Fett, who is on a couple of hard nodes but is also in the cantina store, so you can get him pretty easily, and because of his character, his leadership ability, and his ship you’ll want to farm Bossk as soon as possible… but he is a single hard node farm (dark side 9-B) on one of the most elite dark side levels, so you may not have completed all nine dark side stages yet. If you can manage to clear it, though, Bossk should be an obvious farm because he’s probably the best bounty hunter and has a ship that is essentially a must. As for the other three bounty hunters, I’d suggest farming Cad Bane (who is very easily farmable from the Galactic War store) and IG-88 (who is very easily farmable from the Squad Arena store) given their usefulness with their ships, but IG-88 can be pretty squishy health-wise, so you’ll need your other characters geared up a lot to compensate and hopefully survive the event (it’s very, very RNG dependent). The ideal fifth is Dengar, who is super helpful in this event. You can farm him from the guild store, but that is likely to take a while. Dengar is important for this event and helps considerably, though, so try to farm him if you can. Your other options, though, are Embo (dark side 8-C), Zam Wesell (fleet arena store), Greedo (squad arena store), Aurra Sing (cantina 7-C), and Jango Fett (light side 8-D). The Bounty Hunters are a pretty solid faction overall, so you can’t really go wrong with any of them. Bossk, Dengar, and Boba Fett help make an insanely difficult event a bit easier, though, so I’d recommend them if possible, and I think it makes sense to round out the other two with the other pilots you’ll need (Cad Bane and IG-88).
Another legendary event is for BB-8, the beloved Resistance droid who is a staple in some very good squads (primarily Rey Jedi Training teams). In order to unlock BB-8, you’ll need five First Order characters at five-stars. I would strongly encourage you to farm this lineup: Kylo Ren (Unmasked) (cantina node 3-F), Kylo Ren (cantina nodes 4-C and 6-C), First Order Executioner (cantina node 2-6), Captain Phasma (Galactic War store), and First Order Officer (cantina store). I recommend this lineup because I think it incorporates the best First Order squad yet keeps it relatively reasonable in terms of farming responsibilities. Both Kylo Rens are very good and very useful, while First Order Executioner and First Order Officer play important roles in a First Order squad. Captain Phasma isn’t all that important, but she’s perhaps the easiest one to get.
And lastly is the most recent legendary event, C-3PO. Like Chewbacca, this event is very, very difficult and very RNG dependent. You’ll need five Ewoks to unlock 3PO, and the faction is a pretty solid one in Territory Wars and Grand Arena as well. They’re a faction you’d want to farm anyway, but they became more important with the release of 3PO (who is a very good and versatile support character). There are seven to choose from, but there is a very clear best squad: Chief Chirpa (cantina 5-D), Logray (guild store), Paploo (cantina 3-D and guild store), Ewok Elder (light side 2-C), and Wicket (dark side 8-A and the periodic Endor Escalation event). Compared to some of the other farms in this game, this Ewok squad isn’t terrible. The these five Ewoks are by far the best possible lineup, and they’ll be the easiest to get 3PO with in this very difficult event (so, again, you’ll want these characters very well geared, and perhaps a zeta on Chirpa’s leadership). Your other two Ewok options though are Ewok Scout (light side 1-A) and Teebo (light side 4-A, dark side 3-D, and Galactic War store). Teebo is the easiest Ewok to get, but he also unfortunately probably has the least usability in this event. Ewok Scout is basically an acceptable substitute in this lineup (especially if you don’t have Wicket), but if you’re going to invest resources in farming Ewoks on hard nodes I’d just focus on one of the top five instead.
The Hero’s Journey characters!
Commander Luke Skywalker unlock requirements: Luke Skywalker (Farmboy, Princess Leia, R2-D2, Stormtrooper Han, and Old Ben Kenobi; all at 7-stars
Jedi Training Rey unlock requirements: Rey (Scavenger), Finn, BB-8, Veteran Smuggler Han Solo, and Veteran Smuggler Chewbacca; all at 7-stars
Jedi Knight Revan unlock requirements: Bastila Shan, Jolee Bindo, Zaalbar, Mission Vao, and T3-M4; all at 7-stars
Darth Revan unlock requirements: Bastila Shan (Fallen), Canderous Ordo, Carth Onasi, HK-47, Juhani; all at 7-stars
We at last get to the Hero’s Journey characters, which is a unique event that has only popped up four times so far, saved for the most iconic characters – and they’re my absolute favorite events in the game. This is how we got Commander Luke Skywalker, and then laster we got Rey (Jedi Training) this way, and most recently we got both Jedi Knight Revan and Darth Revan within a few months of each other. All of these characters are absolutely terrific and incredibly useful. All of these events require specific characters, all at seven stars, as these characters unlock only at seven stars. You can see the requirements above for the three events, and the good news is that you should already have two of them out of the way for Commander Luke Skywalker: R2-D2 and Old Ben Kenobi. If you farmed five Empire for R2 and farmed Old Ben for the Yoda event, you’re already well on your way toward this event (though again, make sure you get them to seven stars). From there, farm farmboy Luke Skywalker from guild shipments, cantina node 1-B, Light Side hard node 7-D; Princess Leia from the arena store; and Stormtrooper Han from the arena store and the guild events store. Having these characters at seven stars will allow you to play through Luke’s hero’s journey and unlock Commander Luke Skywalker.
Then we come to Jedi Training Rey, whose requirements present a frustrating farm. She, like Commander Luke Skywalker, requires five specific characters all at seven stars to unlock. If you already farmed First Order characters for the BB-8 event, then you should have BB-8, which helps! From there, you can farm Finn from cantina nodes 3-E and 5-C as well as from Light Side hard node 7-A and guild shipments, while Scavenger Rey can be farmed from Light Side hard node 2-A, Dark Side hard node 5-D, and guild shipments. Both are very useful characters on a Resistance squad, and Finn’s zeta leadership is revolutionary for Resistance (perhaps the biggest impact a single zeta makes in the whole game). But then there are the veteran smugglers, both Veteran Smuggler Han Solo and Veteran Smuggler Chewbacca. Many consider them the most frustrating farms in the game for one of these events, both because they’re incredibly difficult but because their characters are essentially useless in other areas of the game. Han can be farmed on cantina node 8-G, while Chewie can be found on cantina node 8-F. They both take cantina energy (thus preventing you from farming them simultaneously), they both are on high-energy cantina nodes, they both seem to have terrible drop rates, and they both are useless outside of this event. But, alas, you must farm them because you’re going to want Jedi Training Rey, who is a great character and who is especially good when paired with BB-8 and R2-D2.
Then there’s Jedi Knight Revan, who, in my opinion, took the place of Rey’s Hero’s Journey for the most difficult and frustrating farm in the game. Although, if you have been following this guide, then it will be a bit easier for you… because two of the characters needed for Revan can also be used to unlock Grand Master Yoda! Bastila Shan (dark side hard node 5-B and fleet hard node 2-D) and Jolee Bindo (dark side hard node 6-D and fleet hard node 4-E) both have Jedi tags to go along with their Old Republic tags, so these incredibly long and difficult hard node farms may already be out of the way for you. That would be extraordinary news! In addition to Bastilla and Jolee, you will need the other Old Republic characters. Zaalbar is also a hard node farm, as he can be found on light side hard node 5-D and fleet hard node 3-C. And then Mission Vao (cantina node 7-A) and T3-M4 (cantina node 6-B) can both be found on cantina nodes. But here’s the farm that is required for Revan: three hard node characters and two cantina characters. There’s no character that can be considered truly easy to farm, as none of these characters appear in the stores. Instead, they require a long, hard grind to get them to seven stars. But be persistent and persevere, because eventually they can be done!
Lastly, Darth Revan is the newest of the Hero’s Journey characters, and unfortunately this isn’t an easy farm either – and it’s made a bit worse by the fact that you probably won’t have farmed the characters needed already. The only possible exception to that is Juhani, who is a Jedi – meaning that she could be used to unlock Grand Master Yoda. You can farm her on light side hard node 6-A. The other characters needed aren’t currently useful for unlocking another legendary character, but they’ll fit in on various squads (so they’re not a total waste of a farm, like, say, Veteran Smuggler Han Solo and Veteran Smuggler Chewbacca). Bastila Shan (Fallen) is a very good Sith character who pairs very closely with Darth Revan but who also is useful in other Sith squads, and she can be farmed on dark side hard node 7-A. HK-47 is an old character in this game who got an update for the Revan event, but he’s actually very easy to farm, as he’s available from the Squad Arena store. Canderous Ordo is farmable on cantina node 5-C, while Carth Onasi is farmable on fleet hard node 2-E (meaning that Carth will be a very long farm). So you have two hard node characters, a fleet node, and a cantina node to go with the Squad Arena store. Not exactly the easiest farm, but be warned: this event requires high gear levels similar to the Chewbacca and C-3PO legendary events. So for these characters, not only will you need to star them up but you will also need to gear them up. It’s frustrating, but that’s the way EA and CG has apparently decided is the easiest way (i.e. the least amount of work possible) for them to keep end game players challenged.
3. Have Fun!
Ultimately, the main point of the game is to have fun. Some people will enjoy the character collection the most, others will enjoy the guild raids and events, others will enjoy the arena, etc. So find out what you love, and don’t be afraid to have ‘guilty pleasures’ in this game that you devote resources to. For me, my favorite part of this game is far and away the character collection, so I love when new characters are introduced (though I don’t love the current farming system of hard nodes, but that’s another discussion). But this means that I’m farming plenty of characters, and some of them aren’t the most popular choices.
What I’ve put together here is a guide that hopefully will help you early on in the game, especially since these legendary/hero’s journey events are things that you should be striving toward. But as you get going, you’ll get the hang of things, and from there try to find the right balance for you between having fun and being competitive. Just don’t neglect gearing and modding along the way, and you’ll be well on your way to success on the holotables!
Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes by Electronic Arts
Today we have a character guide for beginners and also advanced for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. In this guide we will answer the question, which characters in the game are good and which are not. This means which characters in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes you should farm and invest in. This character guide reflects the position of the majority of top players.
If there is “don’t farm” it doesn’t mean that a char is bad. It only means that considering lack of resources it’s better to farm other chars for beginners.
Some chars are p2p, check it on www.swgoh.gg. You should also check our other Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes guides in the Guide-Section.
Clones – good at arena, GW, raid (some are p2p)
Cody – farm, only with other clones
Clone Sergeant – farm, only with other clones
Echo – farm, only with other clones
Fives – farm, strong char, used in different squads. Need Omega in 1 skill and crit damage with crit chance. And don’t forget about potency
Rex – farm, a strong leader for arena, good in raid, needs potency and speed
Droids – strong at arena and GW
The best squad – HK-47 leader, B2, java engineer, IG-88, IG 86 (or Chief Nebit, Grievous, MagnaGuard)
B2 – to farm, very useful and strong char at arena, dispels buffs, often gain 100% turn meter. Perfect against tanks. Advice – put a crit damage set and crit avoidance
General Grievous – a long time to farm, you can deal without it, though a good leader against AOE crit Meta
HK-47 – farm, the best leader to droids (leader skill at maximum). Needs damage and potency
IG-100 MagnaGW – do not farm, although there are some strong squads with him
IG-86 – farm (needs crit damage)
IG-88 – farm (needs crit damage)
Empire – now they weak as a squad, farm only for events and potency mods
Darth Vader – do not farm, though with Palpatine he can hit really good 1 or 2 times. He is very difficult to get 7* and hence is kind of an achievement. Buy his shards in shard shop if you are not farming General Grievous
Emperor Palpatine – farm. Very strong at arena. Good leader for empire, needs speed (should go first!) and some potency if he is not a leader
General Veers – do not farm
Grand Moff Tarkin – do not farm, though he is a good leader for empire squad and performs good at GW and arena. We need to wait until devs strengthen other Empire chars
Magma-trooper – do not farm
Royal Guard – farm, one of the best tanks at many levels. At the very top he is not a serious problem if he is against. Needs potency
Snowtrooper- do not farm
Stormtrooper – do not farm
Ewoks – do not bad at arena, GW and raid
Chief Chirpa – farm, but with other Ewoks
Ewok Elder – farm, good in rancor raid with Teebo especially (needs speed and HP)
Ewok scout – farm, not bad in the raid, but not great (needs potency and speed)
Teebo – farm, the best leader in rancor raid, needs potency and speed
Geonosians – some good chars
Geonosian soldier – farm. Strong dd, goes often, calls an assist. Need him at GW, deals good at arena and in rancor raid. Needs crit chance and crit damage. A very useful char that is easy to farm
Geonosian spy – do not farm
Poggle the lesser – do not farm, his time has passed (though he can perform ok with droids and other geo as a leader)
Sun Fac – farm, heavy tank, dispels all positive effects with autoattack
Java – should be good in a new raid. In addition you need them for crit damage mods
Chief Nebit – farm, good with droids
Dafcha – farm for the new raid and mods
Java – farm, he is also good at rancor raid
Java Engineer – farm, obligatory with droids at arena
Java Scavenger – farm for the new raid and mods
Jedi – their potential is above average
Aayla Secura – farm, good at rancor raid and arena (need a crit chance and crit damage)
Ahsoka Tano – do not farm, not so really strong, but not weak. Farm if you like her
Barris Offee – farm, useful at low levels as a healer, but not much
EEth Koth – do not farm
Yoda – farm, not bad at arena and in rancor raid (speed and potency)
Ima-Gun Di – Farm as a jedi leader at arena. May be good in a new raid
Jedi Consular – to farm slightly, useful at low levels
Jedi Knight Anakin – farm, strong with clones, jedi, good leader, very strong at arena (needs crit chance and damage)
Jedi Knight Guardian – do not farm
Kit Fisto – to farm, if you need a potency buff in rancor raid
Luminara Unduli – farm at low levels, leader skill is ok
Mace Windu – do not farm. don’t ask why))
Obi-Wan Kenobi (Old Ben) – farm, one of the best leader skills for arena, counter for many squads
Plo Koon – do not farm
Qui-Gon Jinn – to farm, one of the most useful chars, is good at arena, GW, raid. Good leader. Needs speed, potency and damage. And an omega at 1st skill
Nightsisters – do not farm except for Old Daka
Asajj Ventress – do not farm, not so strong
Nightsister Acolyte – do not farm
Nightsister Initiate – do not farm
Old Daka – to farm, good with her stun and revival. Needs speed and potency
Talia – farm slightly at low levels, the initial weak char
Rebels – Meta right now
The best squad – Wedge leader, Lando, StHan (should go first), Palpatine, Biggs (Jka)
Admiral Ackbar – farm, good leader. Needs speed and HP
Wedge Antilles – farm, one of the strongest chars now, a great synergy with Biggs, strong AOE, a lot of speed and good leader (the best we’d say. If you have enough speed and doesn’t need +15 speed from Lando leader). Needs crit damage and speed
Biggs Darklighter – farm, but only with Wedge, good against those who crit. Needs crit damage and speed
Han Solo – farm, useful with his first turn shot. Needs potency, crit chance and crit damage
Hoth rebel scout – farm, a good char
Hoth rebel soldier – do not farm
Lando Calrissian – farm, good leader and very strong AOE, a top char now. Needs crit damage, crit chance and speed
Lobot – do not farm
Luke Skywalker – do not farm
Princess Leia – farm, not bad with Akbar leader, still too much RNG (can perform both great and bad). Needs speed and crit damage
Skarif Rebel Pathfinder – probably do not farm. Slow for tanks without auto taunt
Stormtrooper Han – farm, one of the most powerful tanks. Needs speed, potency and resistance (in descending order). Nowadays meta – whose StHan goes first – wins
Resistance – to farm some chars, needed for speed mods
Finn – do not farm
Poe Dameron – the fastest tank, hence good at arena. Needs speed and potency
